I have two pcs currently exhibiting this problem. I tried start -> right click computer -> manage-> left click disc management-> right click C: .....and format is grayed out :\ This is driving me nuts...can someone please help? I opened Task Manager (also you could press ctrl+shift+esc for task manager) and in processes, stopped explorer.exe, went to applications, add applications, and typed explorer.exe, pressed enter, went to processes, right Once the change is made, click OK.
