Command R didn't work and neither did holding down ALT. Use of HDMI connection can be questionable until OS is already up and running. and if you've already downloaded the FAULTY SERVICE pack then you cant get on to your desktop to downloaded the patch off the internet.. I think last time I needed to activate a Win 7 upgrade install I just gave Microsoft my XP serial number and the they gave me an activation code. The "Hide drivers not compatible with this computer's hardware" checkbox is checked, and no drivers are shown. I have WIndows 7 Ultimate on a 2-drive SATA RAID 1 array that has 2 partitions, one for Win7 and the other for documents etc. Have 2012 macbook air.
