After attempting to install the update (which failed!!), and subsequent re-boot I get the the black sceen with mouse pointer. Horrified, I tell the tech support guy what has happened. Is that screwed up, or what?I have also noticed the blackscreen problem after allowing Windows updates and allowing reboot. all the choices they gave me don't work!
