post in here if there any problem guyz. I used my wife's Windows 8 PC to create a recovery USB drive and used that to boot into recovery mode, but there's literally nothing it'll let me do. In my case, I believe that the problem is with the application that i install on my machine. but after installing it, the blank screen problem occurs.

I tried all the other recovery options including repairing bootmgr via command prompt, to no avail. The System Restore took a really long time considering I had barely installed anything or made any changes to the overall system.
