BSOD After SP1 Update
Any ideas on how I can get to it to uninstall it? The HP tech told me the've seen a lot of these and also told me that M/S has withdrawn this update. (Really? I have a new Dell XPS 1640 P8600. After researching this issue, it seems as if this is happening to all different manufactures (HP, Dell, Acer). Any ideas on how I can get to it to uninstall it?

I was able to fix my BSOD problem that had rendered my Dell Studio 1737 useless! As soon as I uninstalled it (had to do all of this in Safe Mode) and rebooted it worked fine. I thought about doing a system restore but then I would'nt know exactly which update caused the problem. I auto unwittingly updated and installed this Vista 64 file yesterday and have been cursing my Sony laptoptop (FW378J) ever since.
Both Service Pack Installation & Antivirus software might be reading the same process of the operating system. to you EVAN on the gr8 job, u truly are a life saver… jst would like your help a little more.. Jeff I'm trying to fix a Dell Insperion 1545 with this problem.
I've run into a few that act weird with 7. Looked at the reboot log and found that it started to reboot about 3:12AM this morning. In my experience, they work very well and I typically give them out to people who need protection. Hopefully they can find out WHY this is happening and get it resolved for everyone.
