The HP tech told me the've seen a lot of these and also told me that M/S has withdrawn this update. (Really? I have a new Dell XPS 1640 P8600. I was able to fix my BSOD problem that had rendered my Dell Studio 1737 useless! As soon as I uninstalled it (had to do all of this in Safe Mode) and rebooted it worked fine. I've run into a few that act weird with 7. Looked at the reboot log and found that it started to reboot about 3:12AM this morning.
