Or perhaps there is an issue with this particular instance of Windows 7, i.e there is something wring with the install DVD? Through multiple exercises of trial and error, I found that it was Google Chrome alone that was causing the Blue Screen of Death. The bigger and more annoying issue is the fact that I have received the blue screen of death (BSOD) on 3 ocassions.
