BSOD During Skype Call
let's deal with the above fiirst before tackling this one. I need the small window on top of the screen, and this is only possible with the desktop version, not with the Windows 8 app version!! In the meantime, you should be able to solve the problem by downgrading to an earlier version of Skype for Windows. If Skype is installed, it doesn't have to be connected and online to trigger the blue screen issue. Did you install the latest graphic card drivers available for your graphic card when you reinstalled Windows? Sign In Use Facebook Use Twitter Use Windows Live Register now! I hate to say it but you did not have to "empty your harddrive" and reinstall XP because that isn't/wasn't your issue. Another solution is to uninstall the camera drivers (you can still use the camera in Skype without drivers installed) until the problem is fixed. Notice the Manage Attachments button at the bottom when you go to post the next time.

I updated the drivers that I could and removed the C Media Audio Device Driver, but to no effect. The driver cited in both is the Skype driver s3gcil_inv.dll and Asus motherboards and this software have issues. I uninstalled Skype, and I tried to reinstall it.
I generated a new log collector file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8IfJMTnm6ShR2dzUHJXb2NjUXc/edit?usp=sharing In the log file, there is again presence of "clwvd.sys" even though it is in a stopped state.
