Oh well, here's the gist of it: 8 memory dumps from 12 May 2010 to the present (4 days) 5 different STOP errors, with 6 different causes blamed Due to the Boot it up. I got the GSkills rated at 1333 (PC10666) 8-8-8-24 timings. Not sure why it would suddenly come loose after being in place for years, but I WILL check. navigate here

Should I run it on cold start? You might think that that means it's fixed. I am thinking it is the mother board since my USB ports have been failing and when I start my computer, sometimes my keyboard and mouse wont turn on. It did suggest a driver, and running CHKDSK/F but my drivers are up to date and I ran CHKDSK and found no problems. weblink It truely is a most annoying and costly problem :) Fortunately I could switch most parts with my other functional PC.
Memtest also reports errors. I get here at about 8PM tonight, boot the thing up with NOTHING connected to the board except ODD, RAM, keyboard, and video card, and it fails memtest in front of It passes. Seems that was enough to warm it up.
