Does the operating system I have affect the Maximum Memory?The operating system (or OS) your computer has installed also has a maximum RAM limit. It still runs like new, though I need to replace the battery and I'm looking into upgrading to 16gb ram. Of course since 16GB of RAM is not "officially" supported, it would be hard to get this problem addressed. Running OSX 10.9.5 (Mavericks).
