BSOD When Computer Is Idle
I'm having some annoying problems with my computer that runs Windows 10 Home Edition (updated in April from Windows 7 and never had problems so far). Everything seems fine at first. A hard restart is required to get it back working. The game installed incorrectly twice so I wanted to make sure there wasn't something wrong on my end and launched the defrag tool. his comment is here

It was something being run in the background by Windows Defender, and conveniently Windows Defender has something that begins running in 4 minutes after idle, so I turned Windows Defender off, Same findings with Blue Screen viewer. I might just uninstall it and use another tool instead to make things easier.

And clicking "Start Maintenance" in the "Security and Maintenance" window gives me the registry_error BSOD. Memtest86+ I tried using the SF Diagnostic tool but it gives me the error where it cant find the path. Register Help Remember Me?

It would seem that this automatic maintenance activates after the computer is left idle for a few minutes, and is the culprit. I suspect it might be a driver issue or a ram issue.
