Only one thing that makes me think is that the network drivers are not correctly working and giving errors resulting to BSOD. That is the reason why I said I have updated all possible drivers as well as install the latest network drivers from Dell. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight.

Knowing the driver or process that is named on the blue screen will help in identifying what and why.In the meantime if it is the network card/driver, you should experiment with Bcmwl63a.sys Utorrent I like AVG and have used it together before. Windows update is months behind at times.

I get no BSOD on any other occasion except when I use Bittorrent. I had another BSOD when using Bittorrent, I also happens with Frostwire so I don't think that another bittorrent client would be a solution.
For more information on how to update the BIOS you need to read the documentation Acer should provide. I cant even paste it. Updating the BIOS rarely does go wrong, if it goes wrong you can pretty much throw away your laptop as the mainboard will be bricked then.
